Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique that helps reduce stress, relax the mind and body, as well as promote inner balance by improving energy flow through the body. The term comes from the Japanese words rei, meaning universal, and ki, meaning life force energy. Ki is the energy that animates all living things (like chi in Chinese). It gives life to every bone, tissue and cell in your body. When your ki is low or unable to flow freely, it is more difficult to manage stress. When your ki is balanced and flowing freely, it supports the body’s own natural ability to heal.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not tied to any specific religion, making it accessible to everyone.
Why Reiki
Reiki calms and promotes balance. It helps with emotional healing to better manage life’s ups and downs. Reiki enhances relaxation and sleep, self-awareness and self-esteem. It is extremely helpful for stress and anxiety-related symptoms. During the Reiki session, the client is extremely relaxed and can fall asleep. Reiki treatments are safe and non-invasive. After a Reiki session, you feel balanced and grounded. It improves concentration, rids the body of toxins to better fight disease and is very helpful for healing past traumas and events.
We live in a stress-filled and fast-paced world, which can impact our ability to enjoy life, stay balanced, and maintain good quality health. I believe that the power of Reiki energy is limitless, and my passion is to help you on your path to wellness. If you’re taking the time to read this, you may just be ready to start your journey. I hope to see you along the way.
What to expect during a Reiki treatment:
A complete Reiki session usually lasts 60 minutes. The recipient is lying on a treatment table or sitting comfortably in a chair while fully clothed.
Reiki is offered through the practitioner by light touch or placing the hands above or on a series of locations: the head, torso, and limbs. It is quite normal for some clients to fall asleep and many of them report feeling lighter and more relaxed after a session.
What to expect during Chakra healing therapy:
Chakras are energy centers in your body. Seven chakras run along the length of your spine and end at the top of your head. Each of these chakras is associated with a different color and a specific element. If your chakras are out of balance, they can cause difficulties with mood, focus, and overall health. The good news is that each chakra has a healing intention, meaning there are ways you can bring your chakras back into balance and feel better as a result. We will work on chakra grounding. Guided meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and affirmations during your therapy will also bring your chakras back into balance. Chakra healing essential oils and crystals are also a treatment option you can incorporate in your therapy plan. Whether you are new to this practice or seeking to deepen your understanding, integrating chakra healing into your life can lead to transformative experiences and profound healing. Embrace the journey and allow the flow of energy to guide you toward harmony and peace.
