Tips for Getting Ready for Your First Brazilian Wax

It’s not the most pleasant experience but most people agree that it is fast and worth it!

  1. Let your hair grow for at least 2 weeks. If you have some hairs that are not long enough you will have some left over hair.

  2. Take an ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment.

  3. Exfoliate the bikini area 2-3 days before your waxing appointment.

  4. You will be more sensitive right before your period. We recommend scheduling around that. You can still be waxed without issues, just remember that ibuprofen!

  5. Plan to shower as close to your appointment as possible. We also provide cleansing wipes to use before the appointment.

  6. Schedule your appointment when you can wear loose fitting clothing home and you won’t be sweating afterwards.

Things to remember after waxing

  1. No swimming, sweating, sex, or saunas 24-48 hours after waxing.

  2. Home care is important so ask your esthetician what they recommend. Be sure you are exfoliating and moisturizing on a regular basis.

  3. You will have some hair grow back in the first week or so if it is your first time waxing. After a few months of waxing at regular intervals, you will get all those hairs on the same growth cycle and get smooth, hair free skin longer.

  4. Be Consistant! Schedule your next waxing appointment before you leave and be sure to consistently exfoliate between appointments.

  5. Do not shave in between appointments. Let those hairs grow and let us take care of them at your next appointment (that you definitely already scheduled😉)

  6. Call us if you have any issues. No suffering in silence!
